Paige's dogs

Paige has had a terrible habit lately of throwing her food on the
floor. She is starting to taper it off a little bit now, but she has
come up with a really clever explanation as to why she is exhibiting
this behavior. Whenever she throws something on the floor or it falls
off she says, "For the dogs." The interesting part about this is that
we don't have any dogs, nor have we been around anyone who lets their
dog eat table scraps. So the question remains, where did she learn this
one!?!

counting...toes?

Last night Chloe was having trouble going to sleep because she had taken
a nap during the day. She was doing her best to try to lull herself
asleep. At about 8:30, she came out of her room very distraught. She
came up to me and said, "Mom, I know I am supposed to have 10 fingers
and 10 toes and that makes 20, but I keep counting and counting and I
can only find 19!" She was practically in tears when she got to the
part where she said she only had 19 fingers and toes. After Greg and I
recovered from falling on the floor laughing, we took inventory of her
toes and fingers and discovered that she did indeed have 20
digits---pheeeew!
